Rikishi Runners

There’s no way I’m going to get to the Carnival today, so please forgive me for postponing it until next Wednesday.

In the meantime, a tip of the hat to Xenia, for introducing us to something you certainly should have heard about on this website before now: The Sumo Run. Judging by this video, it is clearly the most awesome costume race ever.

The Brits never let me down. No sooner had I written “Danger Mouse could not be reached for comment” than he shows up in a newspaper story. Will Penfold be far behind?

The Nun’s Run

You missed your big opportunity to run a 4-mile race through London dressed as a nun. Organizers raffled off tickets to the musical Sister Act, and proceeds benefited the Barnardo’s children’s charity.

Next year: A race through Cordoba dressed as the Spanish Inquisition!
