Not Much Profit in Running Theft

From the police blotter in the Wilmette-Kenilworth Patch of Illinois:

Officers responded to a call at Runner’s Edge at 335 Ridge Rd. for an alarm activation in the early morning of July 13, police reports state. Upon arrival, officers discovered that that the front glass door had been smashed out. A check of the premises found no one present. The offender(s) took the cash drawers from the two registers that combined approximately $33 in loose change and inactive gift cards.

Once again proving that running is the cheapest of all sports. Burglars would do better to hit a cycling shop or a golf store.
