Having difficulty losing weight despite all the miles you’re running? The New York Times may have solved your problem.
Perhaps you’re eating too much during your runs.
Moderate athletes need to eat and drink after the workout, sports nutritionist Melinda M. Manore told the Times, but a healthy meal with plenty of fluids is sufficient. Indeed, for most of them, the most common error is to eat too much.
So put those doughnuts and gummy bears away. Or better yet, I’ll hold them for you.



We agree. Even if a person spent 8 hours in a gym or run for 10 hrs straight but his diet is composed of empty calories, he will not lose weight. Weight loss is a combination of a healthy diet and exercise.
