Friday Five: Differences Between Young Runners and Old Runners
1) Young runners: PRs are the fastest times run in your life. Old runners: PRs are the fastest times run this month.
2) Young runners: Party all night, can run a mile for each beer consumed. Old runners: Asleep by 10, can run a mile for each porta potty stop.
3) Young runners: Get hurt while doing things. Old runners: Get hurt lying in bed.
4) Young runners: Hate being geezered. Old runners: Can’t be geezered.
5) Young runners: Look forward to getting faster. Old runners: Look forward to new age group.

But the really question is when do we cross over and become old? Is that mental or physical?
In case any of your readers are “old”, you better watch your back next race you’re in! You know it’s every seasoned-veteran’s dream to fly by a young’un at the finish line, hah.
LOL Thanks for the laugh. And they’re true! :)
