Top Running Web Sites? I Didn’t Make It Either
RaceResultsWeekly.com ranked the top running information web sites (according to Alexa stats) and Running Is Funny is nowhere to be seen! A travesty! Nevertheless, here are the top 20 US sites. I’ve even embedded links to them because that’s just the kind of guy I am:
1) Active.com
3) Competitor
4) LetsRun.com
5) MileSplit
6) Map My Run
7) Cool Running
8) Flotrack
10) Marathon Guide
11) DyeStat
12) Athlinks
13) Hal Higdon
14) Team In Training
16) Running Ahead
17) RunnerSpace
18) International Association of Athletic Federations
19) Running Times

Lame. So corporate.
I say you concoct your own list for us to ogle. I mean, yes, you have a blogroll, but maybe there’s some secrets you’re not sharing?
Plus, then you can put yours at the top and that’s good fun.
Next time include the top 21, why don’t ya? I’m SURE you were right after Road Runners.
Active.com as number one is lame. Of course it’s number one! Everyone HAS to go to that site to register! *gag*
I didn’t make it either: http://www.runcookwrite.com.
They must’ve made a mistake… I’m not on there either.
I suggest you & Vanilla write to this site & point out their blatant oversight.
Kind of sucks that they included sites that are not purely for runners (Active.com, Competitor.com, Athlinks). Tough to compete against those guys. Don’t feel bad though, my site, http://www.runners-resource.com, didn’t the list either..and probably wasn’t even close. :)
